with milk in the game, i'm trying to gather milk when i can. i want to make sure it's worth the effort though so i was wondering if anyone could post a screenshot of the schematic for the active/passive bio sensors. i want to know what attributes are important on the milk. also, any other stuff that needs milk, you can throw that up here also.

OQ PE and FL are 33% each in BE Tissues, and if memory serves me right the same goes for the BE food additives...

ok, so, i know a lot of things have different attributes listed for effectiveness. do the attributes of the milk really have a big impact on the final product, or can the quality be made up with the other ingrediants?

i guess i'm asking whether the stats of the milk make a big difference a) in the price be's will pay for it and b) the effectiveness of the tranquilizer items.

OQ seems to affect the success and "starting point" of the initial combine. PE and Flavor affect the range of experimentation, and determing how much above the initial combine you can achieve.

In my experience, the lower you are in the experimentation tree, the more you need OQ for even an acceptable result. At master, you can experiment up an average start to a good result, even to the point of having unusable experimentation points as the stats of the product are maxed for the resource's qualities. The best results tend to come from high PE/high Flavor stats, as they provide the biggest range of potential improvement. Good OQ is still important - your end result will be better adding 10 points to a +8 start than a +5, but if I am weighing variables, I tend to look to the secondary stats more if the OQ is at least in an acceptable (>500) range.

It's like any other crafted item. Using a poor quality resource of any type can seriously degrade the final product. So to answer your question, yes it's important to use the milk with the highest OQ/PE/Flavor stats that you can find.

The same stats as every other food resource: OQ and PE are probably the most important, with Flavor and DR after that.

Basically, judge milk's quality the same way you would meat.

Hey guys, need to know something, I am havesting a fair bit of milk since the drop rate was upped and was wondering if the stats mean a lot to you for your crafting. I ask this as I know that Bantha butter is a subcomponent and as a rule sub component stats are not a huge issue (at least they never have been for my crafting: artisan and architect).

With mask scent and Piket Longhorns I can make about 5k of milk in a very very short time and the ease of this makes me think it might be a good idea to do it as a money maker.

For bantha butter it doesn't matter.

It is also used for some BE additives (ie Flavor for Parwan Nutricake) but it doesn't matter too much for that either. I actually used recycled milk (which is 200 on all stats) and ended up with a 44 flavor which was plenty to get 93 on my Parwan.

For blue milk the stats do matter, but very little milk is used for that. In my experience most of your milk will be used for Bantha Butter for Pikatta and thus the stats won't make a difference.

That is so good to hear as the OQ on this milk that I was happily gathering (yes I know I should have looked at the stats first) is 28 I think hehe, high 800s for flavour though, mmmmm tasty but nasty hehe
