I used to do that exact same thing, but with Fan Shot. So instead of 1 angry vortitor, his whole extended family mauled me also. Needless to say itcurrently resides on my 'grinding' toolbar :>

lol.. thats funny... I know how that goes... but I had mine next to burst run and supression fire(still have it from when I was BH... its a good skill when I am playing run away)... I would either burst run away from it or piss it off and still have a chance..... but I know what you mean when I was sampling rancors I did that once... it wasnt pretty considering I forgot to clone... haha

Actually I found mapping your macros to your keyboard works really well. I have my sampling mapped to keypad enter, my attack command at keypad 0, tame as keypad plus and numerous other ones so that no matter what toolbar I have at the top of the screen, these are always at my fingertips

I put all my creature commands on the number keys. I never used the cameras. Though it took me forever to break the habit of using the number keys for numbers. I used to spam creature commands every time I used the bazaar terminal. I put my sample DNA where "sit" used to be. Fairly harmless place for it to be, and when it comes to sitting down I'm never in too much of a hurry to type /sit by hand.
