It won't hurt to /bug it, but I doubt it will help.

Bugging it wont help I agree as this just goes into a big statistics pile. If we all raise it as a game breaking issue for

us (Which for me it is as I craft critters for mine and other MCH) via support ticket, a CSR has to respond at least.

I get the feeling CSR have more clout than our correspondent.

I would urge you all to NOT PM/email the devs about this. that tactic was tried by a former correspondent during the CU testing, and it had less than ideal results.

as for CSR tickets? I don't think that'd help, either. since this is a 'known issue' for the devs, CSR response will likely be along the lines of 'yes, this is broken, and yes, the devs are working on a fix.' CSR's and devs alike are plenty busy 'firefighting' right now.

/bug always remains an option. similarly, the current 'version 0.122xxx' feedback thread on the forums is a good place to note problems.

I wish I had more encouraging news to report.

I actually did CSR it the very first day of the CU. I got a reply from the CSR. I was very specific in what I wrote. I had a specific suggestion for a quick fix (give all animals fortitude of 250 until they can fix the equations).

The reply from the CSR basically said this: We understand that during the converstion BE pets were not converted, while wild tamed animals were. We are aware of the problem and are working on it.

The CSR did not understand that I was actually addressing a design problem rather than a pet in my datapad problem. In any case, it is not in the scope of the CSR's to address design problems. They deal with in-game issues. Live chat out of game is for account problems and so on, CSR's in game are for game problems in game but NOT design.

I think that the CSR's have a database of CSR problems that they use to cut and paste into the mails they are getting. They do not have any power to change the design of the game so they have to say something and what they say is from that database of 'recorded replies'. I am not slamming the CSR's. I had a very very nice one who worked his bottom off to get me back my stuff after my character was deleted - he tried and tried using his own CSR tools but to no avail - they were goneand he kept getting errors. So I think they are very good at what they do.

But I don't think they have the dev's ears. And like our very own correspondant, I don't think they have coffee with the devs, I don't think they hang out with the devs after work (and lets' say they did ... you really think they are going to talk about WORK?).

I'm not saying don't do it. I'm just saying ... might not do any good.

Yeh it probably wont help, they do at least work for SOE though.

Thing is dude, the creating of new pets post CU hasnt even made it onto the hot topics list only the

conversion issue from pre CU to post CU.

Until you achieve at least that, I hold out no fix hopes in the next months and will thus look for other ways to get visibility for this

game breaking issue for me.
