Relatively new the profession but since i picked it up ive been playing a lot with things to try to decrypt how the DNA templates work and how they affect certain things...needless to say im having a blast, its really is quite fun to play with this stuff.

Ive run into a little of a problem though....im currently 4434 BE...and ive also got a little CH currently to be able to play with the pets im creating. Ive been trying to create a 20 lvl pet with high kinetic but cant seem to get it quite right. Ive created a lot at level 23-24...but even then ill either have high resists and really crappy HAM or *ok* HAM and the resist will suck...the to hit percentage is low as well. Something like .29 or .27.

Ive been sampling on Endor lately for 2 reasons:

1. The xp is qutie good for my level currently, and im trying to get to Master =)

2. Some of the creatures there have some nice statistics

I have read the guides stickied on this forum...as well as some of the other guides BE's have posted and have learned a little from those, but i still find myself lacking a little....

On that note....im looking for a little help here. Could some of you more experienced guys give me some pointers as to what I can look into next? Again looking to make a level 20ish pet for myself...tring to get at least decent kinetic...but other resists would be nice too. Ive been using venom arachne and bloodstained merek dna with ok results....should i be using something else?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Mantigrue Reapers have good resists (CL50) and once you get Sampling 4 you can go after Bark Mite Burrowers (CL55) and Bark Mite Burrower Queens (CL65).

To get something at CL 20 tho, you're going to have to use multi-generational DNA. This will lower your CL's.The resists wont changes as you sample your clones, but your ham and aggression will be affected. You're going to have to choose where your experimentation points go..either into HAM or into damage.

For a pet that low you wont be able to have both.
