Thread: Player city cloning centres: An untapped source for themed workspaces
Tied of sitting around in your house staring at the usual walls? Sick of the only light you have to work undr being produced by flickering torches or the usual plain ambient light? Want to feel more like a bio-engineer or a mad scientist? Well then it's time you spoke to your local mayor..
A long time ago I was talking with the mayor of the city Thalia which was established not far from where my lab has always been. Its actually less than a 60 second run away to be in it's centre. I'm still waiting for their city limits to extend far enough to cover where my showroom is however it doesn't really matter since I came to an arrangement with the Mayor to convert their cloning facility into a true genetic research centre which would encourage not only more bio-engineers to the city plus it's a welcome sight to people who respawn there and shows how much the city cares about it's appearence.

One of the great things about Thalia is that it's a research centre so critical failures are very low and experimentation is fantastic. For things like petstims the usual caps caused by poor materials are practically removed completely and its easy to hit arond 85% even with mediocre materials. There's two terminals in there, one is a pre-patch one which Ive sometimes found will almost never give you a critical failure even though it's like -12. The other is a modern one which is top of the line. Feel free to drop by if you want a nice working environment but I encourage more of you to do things similar since it's so rare to find bio-engineers meeting up so having centres like this would help bring the community together more.
How many items can you fit into this building? Do you just keep the crafting stations there? Just curious, the pics look really cool!
