How hard? Right, this is really very simple. Look at any wild animal, those are the stats which SOE considers fair for that CL ratings. We are allowed to make ones which are equal to wild animals 'several' CL ratings higher in the wild. In our case we're seeing this working as a discount. You copy a CL50 animal, you get a CL45 clone in many cases. You can also increase the CL by increasing the damage per second, hence all our CL75+ clones made from Mutant Rancor dna.

Again a case in point of why we need a realtime feedback on how we're effecting the final CL on the template itself.

I i see this happening... they WILL REMOVE the ability to apply armor to cl 30+ clones since there are non armored cl 30+ creatures, so basicly kiss this goodbye

I think you mean sub-CL30 clones. Frankly i agree with that since armor is effectivly 50% to everything, now find me a mob that us under CL30 which has 50% to everything resists. You'd be hard pressed to find something which is 40% to everything actually. I wouldn't call that a nerf, i'd call that fair.

I happen to agree with Tal-N on this ... if they take away the armor ability from the sub 30 beasties .. it won't be so bad. I will be as it should be.

I don't think we have to worry about creatures over 30.

Yeah I fail to see your logic as to why they'd remove the armor from CL30 animals.

No, the graul was rebalanced because it had massive resists and armor. In order to keep it the same CL it needed to have the armor removed. There are several species which are in the CL30-40 range which have light armor however they suffer penalties elsewhere.

Ok Something will happen to BE cause i have seen Razor cats made lvl 28 with light armour and 60% resists to kinetic this shouldn't be possible.

The devs wont nerf BE bad though cause this is the first time that BE's are happy since release.

Also with the ability to get milk easier now those taming tissues will be selling like mad

Actually, there is only one under 40, the Riverside Mynok from Lok, and the only reason it has it is because it's "V" to Kin (though there is the possibility they just plain missed it in the pass). After that, the next up is the Delerious Merek Avenger at CL 40.

If they do "fix" it so AR1 can't go on 35 or less I'll be out of BE. I'll be able to Tame anything a BE could fudge together and I just would be able to continue to justify the point cost.

My reasoning is thus:

So what if a BE can make a Rancor equiv that is level 45 with 60% kin? Thats only 30% more than natural the wild one I currently use. If I drop BE and train up Medic,I've saved skill points and can heal that 30%faster and better than the 30% would have protected it to begin with.

They are turning BE into a RP class. Only people that think it's cool toact likea BE will do it, cause there won't be anything else cool aboutit...
