Thread: Low-Level CH Mount Recipe from Corellia
Here are the results of my experimenting last night. I am a low-level CH (max CL 22), and I wanted a mount that could also serve as a tank. I have knockdown (via Pistoleer), so I also thought it would be neat if the creature had Dizzy Strike. Finally, I am lazy, so I didn't want to leave my home world. here are the results, recipe follows:
Level 22 Carrion Spat
HAM: 5596/5632/5847
Resists: 34 Kinetic, 33 Energy, Vuln to everything else
Attack: .32 to hit, 140-150 dmg, 2.06 Speed
Specials: Dizzy & Stunning
Recipe:
Step 1: Create a (level 19) carrion spat with 5 war gronda samples. This was my first try, and it was disappointing (stats below). But I used it in Step 2.
Step 2: Use samples from Step 1 creature in Psych and Agression. Use crimson razor cat samples in Physique, Prowess. Use savage humbaba in Mental.
Details: I always use HQ samples, and experiment on Mental, Prowess, and Physique to egt to the stats I wnat, then drop the rest in Psych (I have 7 pointd). After experimenting, the DNA looked like:
Hardiness 310 Fort 47 Dex 309 End 324 Int 326 Clev 194 Dep 829 Cour 435 Fier 225 Pow 163
I stuck this in a carrion spat skin to get the creature I described. For completeness, here are the stats of the level 19 spat I used in psych and aggression (made from 5 war grondas):
Level 19 Carrion Spat
HAM: 5883/5901/3550
Resists: 40 Kinetic, 40 Blast, 11 Energy/Heat/Cold, Vuln to everything else
Attack: .25 to hit, 90-110 dmg, 2.16 Speed
Specials: Knockdown & Stunning
tbh i like the cl19 better, little less dmg but its faster andthe ham and res is better.
Nice job tho

Yeah, it definitely works as a CR 19. I had 3 problems with it, though:
- The Mind was really low
- I'd much rather a high Energy than a high Blast
- I'd rather Dizzy than Knockdown, since I can use Pistol Melee
