Endor Smuggler Outpost, everywhere. Get some missions, if you cant, group up and get some missions.

There is a nicely sized region that I call the Merek Praerie on Endor. It's around 4000m from the Smugglers outpost next to the desert. I don't have the exact wp however on the map you'll see just to the west of the outpost a clear line for the edge of the desert, follow this curve around to where it starts to curve north into some green mountains. There will be an odd looking region that is about the size of your thumb on the map sitting between the desert and the mountains. This region is totally flat and has a fantastic spawning rate for merek. It is also the ONLY place i have seen King and Queen mereks spawning from the lairs as if they are normal merek.

In the desert itself (extreme north Endor) you can find Merek Harvesters, Death's Heads, Cavern Creepers, Avengers, etc. It helps to have a speederbike, although you may need to pause once in a while to wait for the server to catch up with your movement and generate the spawns. On your radar, the lairs usually appear first, so if you target them, I think mereks usually live in mounds/earthen mounds. If you see one of those, approach to about 80 meters and wait for the server to generate the creatures.

Good luck! And good info about the kings/queens

I was going to be saving this cause it's incomplete but I'm starting up converting the SWGmaps.com images to have information for which regions regularly spawn specific species. Naturally this will ONLY list regions which produce high volumes of certain animals or is know to produce certain lairs which you don't see anywhere else. I'll be working on the Lok one next since there are two specific regions where Kimogila appear, I know we can't sample them but folks do like to hunt them.

This shows two regions on Endor which produce two species which don't commonly spawn anywhere else and are not mission spawns either. I have yet to identify somewhere for Arachne or Barkmites however the Hanadak region is also popular with Bloodseeker Mites which are a lesser version of the barkmites but a nice alternate since the bloodseeker mite guardians are almost direct copies of barkmite burrowers.

This post is a few days old, but Tal-N, if you are looking for crazy amounts of Arachnes try the region of 2800 by negative -2861 on Endor. It's usually thick with Webmasters and Warriors both.
