i am a brand new be and i was wondering if i could get some helping tips to get me started. if u r on the shadowfire server and would like to help me out of the kindness of ur heart(or for ap), LMAO! just tell me

get the first dna sampling box, go to endor, get the 2nd and some of the 3rd if you want, go to dathomir/yavin4 and get to dna4 in no time with loads of cash (do missions without fighting anything, kill the creatures with sampling)
make some pets, sell them for cheap (cause you'll make huge money anyway, and you're not a salesman who can stay in front of coronet's spaceport for hours right ? cause I'm not ! lmao) sell the failures on bazaar, get the engineering techniques tree, then the other trees depending if you want to make various pets or clothes components.

do u get more xp for harder creatures?
and can u sample from a creature tring to attack u?

Yes you do getmore xp for harder creatures.

No you can't sample from a creature attacking you or one that is being attacked/attacking something else.
