Probably a newbie question but I was under the impression BE was solely a crafting profession but I am levelling each time I train a BE bubble. So is it counted as an elite combat and thus adding to my CL?

I went from 59 - CL60 by training engineering 2

I don't know for sure...but I was a 3111 tk with MBE and was a lvl 30. I dropped tk down to 1111 and my lvl dropped to 24. If it helps with your level...it can't be much.
