Thread: Aggro skins don't seem to apply anymore at least to non-CH

As Belisama noted previously on this point - i can confirm it is true.

I had occassion to test a level 10 narglatch and a level 10 angler, both of which were previously aggressive skins and could not be used by non-CH's. Both were tamed and called (but not trained and used) by a level 1 non-CH with no problems. Narglatches are still aggressive in the wild, so I will jump to the conclusion that the skin in BE no longer carries aggression. At least I'm treating it like that until I hear differently from a customer (full refund of course).

very interesting... wonder if this is intentional or if it's considered a bug? Thanks for the input! I think I'll do some tests on this one, too

This is really frustrating... the stupid game changes and I adapt but I have to be worried now that they will change it back to what it was before and worry about angry customers??? IT'S NOT FAIR!

And, they don't even tell us if it is a bug or working as intended most of the time - that is Lammie bugs them to death and gets no blood from the stone of the correspondants forum (I am sure of this even if I don't see it b/c he is good and I know he wouldn't let things slip).

So ... i was really happy b/c i was going to be able to make a wider range of somewhat useless xp stealing DL10 micropets, but now you remind me that the game is not stable and I should not Well, i firmly believe that anyone who buys my level 10 pets that were aggressive and now are not will have either quit the game or deleted MY pet to make room for their quest animal - well before the devs even begin to start thinking about this issue.

Sorry Lantyssa you are absolutely right but I don't want to play the waiting game ... i run a shop with a full refund/exchange policy and that's gonna have to do them. I think some of the previously aggressive pets that can be made at level 10 look really cool and I'd like to make them for my customers. I'm getting tired of making always the same ones.

I'm totally not flaming you - just frustrating with worrying that I might be doing something 'wrong' all time time w/o knowing the rules.

I could sell so many woolies to entertainers, everyone loves mine. He wouldn't be so unique then which would probably drive demand down. Vicious circle...

I understand completely. I've ranted plenty of times about things like that.

One option is to make them, but let your customers know that it might be changing in the future and that depending on how many people come back, you may not be able to fulfill refund requests.

I would consider it a bug until we hear differently. It would be good if Lammergeier could ask about this, else there are a bunch of angry customers a few publishes down the line.

I can confirm this, too-- I've madetwo Woolies and two Chokus who were able to be tamed by the non-ch set (I tried one each, and gave one of each to two different people-- they were able to tame and have them trained). I tried making them after seeing another dancer with a pet Woolie she said was a tamed wild baby... And she's non-ch as well. So, this may not be a skin bug/change, but a bug/change with aggro animals in general.

I as well can confirm this, in fact about2months ago ( i can'tremember, it was shortly after they stealthed in the pet sizingby level )I had a customer that wanted a Non-CH Dalyrake and a Woolamander. So the first thing I did, ( my BE not being a CH ) is make a couple for myself and saw if I could even tame them. I could! So I went ahead and completed my order free of charge, since i was not sure ( of course this was before the CH changes) oncethey were full grown if theywould still be contollable. My customer was then nice enough to let me know that there we no problems andhis critters were doing fine.I just thought I was discovering this for myself, and since I'm usually the last to knowI thought itwas common knowledge lol.But apparently this has been in place for a while now, perhaps to offsetnon-ch's not having large or even normal sizedpets,by giving themmore variety. Or, it was completely inadvertant when they started playing around with critters, it may have been since they originally changed/fixedBE, but we just continued to go by the rule of thumb

Never be afraid to post something you find - we will alljust laugh and sneer at you if it isn't truly new - (that was a joke). i hope. The thing is, people are starting BE every week. They come to the forums. They read. They learn. Someone else who started 3 weeks before them posts something they just noticed. (Alth i know this isn't you - this is just an example). Everyone else says 'yeah yeah we noticed that and isn't it cool or doesn't it suck...'. But the new person andthe other what - 5-6 new BE's from that week have just learned something new that they might not have noticed for a long while by themselves and which might help them a lot.

Now where was i? Oh yes. My new goal is to fill my non-CH vendor with one of every possible kind of non-CH pet. I tried to make a thune the other day. Came out level 15 because the mininum level is still hard and fast. I just wanted to test it in case it wasn't so ... I saw a pair of cute baby snorbals at the starport the other day and they were so tiny and cute I was hoping ...

CH = elephant handler???

Lantyssa - I'll find somewhere to sick the warning but people never READ warnings and anyway seems a large numbercome back to you anywaywith 'my pet doesn't work' and it's because they still have their droid out

Hehe I do know there is no laughing and sneering But I think I've tested every skin withtrash DNA tosee its minimum level, because of the growing requests for unusual critters. WhichI've almost started stocking all once aggro skins possible to make as non-CH pets, but haven't since I don'tknow the finality of this yet.So, I've just let the requests keepcomming sinceI can actually tell them, "hey, this may not be permanant..." But, since it has been so long,(though thatdoesn'tmean much) I may start it up myself. Make a Non-CH vendor, reciting my new Non-CH warranty, but who pays attention to that either LOL. Maybe if I cut the price on them, I won't go broke if blows up in my face

Dalys have been non-aggressive skins as far back as I can remember. I guess I'll take the plunge and put some woolies up.Never saw a wild woolie baby before so I learned something there and am equally surprised that they are only CL10.

Now if mereks min would go as low as CL10, I could have a bunch of skeletors!
