For a true benchmark, you should probably do it with 100% post CU componants and materials with no loot componants.
I'm pretty sure the best possible on Kauri are sitting at 1171 power, 20 uses.

To try the other angle, I just crafted a stim... I used loot componants and hit 1479 Power, 27 charges with 191 power blood, and those Enhanced Liquid Suspensions from the old Rebel Themepark Loot...
Anyone actually surpass 1500 yet?

The probable reason for this is that each of the subs actually carries decimal places for power and charges that are not shown (demonstrated on the doctor forums pre-CU). Your 68/3 was probably something like 68.835/3.285 and your new ones were like 69.125/3.285. The actual difference between 68 and 69 can be very very small...
However, the other side of the coin is that 2 subs could look exactly the same (68/3), but if you use the one experimented to 87% instead of the one experimented to 85%, your fractions could add up and you would get another point in the final product. I never worry about it since I am not on a quest to get the absolute best out of my stims, but that is likely where the power went...
Using all post CU components I'm pretty sure the best we can make on Kettemoor is 1194/19 Stim D's. Using Enh LS and Janta blood I've gotten 1476/18 I think it was, not positive on what the charges were. I need 196 power janta bloods to break 1500 and I can't seem to loot anything better then 174

We can break 1200 on Valcyn thanks to some VERY special Dantooine Berries (for the ALS and for the 'Seeds' resource). But speaking for myself, I'm running low on them and I probably won't be able to make them much longer. Its going to be a sad, sad day for me (my ego, anyway).
I'm able to get 1204 power/20 charges using all 'new' crafted components. My best overall have been some 1490+ (I've made some 1492's and 1494's) stims using Enh. Liquid Suspensions and 180+ Janta Bloods. But I haven't come across any good Janta blood lately so those are only a memory.
on bria i was able to make 1129 with 21 uses or 1185 with 20 uses. unfortunately, im not a 12 point, only 10, so could have been better
