Bleh....In case you could not have guess I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place for sampling bark mites, particularly burrowers and queens. I've been wandering the Endorian desert and have yet to spot one, burrower, queen, or otherwise. Thanks a bunch for any help.

If you go to the Smugglers Outpost you can get missions for bark mites. I've even seen queens wandering around aimlessly not far from the post.

The trick is to NEVER pop the lair. Sample them till they are dead set up a WP on the lair then move to the next lair. You only need 2 lairs that are 150m apart to get samples all day bacause they will respawn when you walk away. If you hit the lair though chances are you will not be able to farm it all day unless you can get the bark mites to heal it back up.

Not enough people realize this so bark mites become extinct by 5pm or so on my server.

I'll check this out, but are these missions spawning more than regular bark mites or are there burrower missons? Thanks again for the help.

I got a mission for queens. It was hard as heck too. I was also in a group with a healer and a comando. I had my reptilian flier out as well. It helps to get the higher missions.

What level was listed for the Queen mission?

Oh man, I didn't even think to try getting missions in a group. Almost always I am soloing, especially when sampling. I'll bet if I get a couple other master combatants I could get two queen lairs. Thanks for the idea =).

It's also pretty easy after getting diseased by a bark mite to find an arachne that'll deathblow you. They're usually not far away. It's cheaper and easierto insure your stuff than it is to fly back to Theed or Coronet and hope there's a doctor around.

Couple of other things to add about the bark mite burrows and queens. These guys range desease so its a good idea to buy a disease cure pack - that way you can give it to a doctor to heal you. I dont know how many times I have heard 'sorry I dont have the packs on me'. I usually give them a few packs and a tip to cure me. The other thing to note is that whenBMB's aggro on you - they also aggro on each other and it becomes a deathmatch till only one is left standing and usually any thing that spawn out of the lair when they are going canibal joins the fight - best thing to do - is find another lair or wait till one remains and DONT tap the lair unless the fight has moved at least 50 meters from the lair. These guy have also hit my speeder bike at least two times - one time almost killing the bike. I always bring another bike now in deed form. You dont want to be left on foot in endor diseased :-) I find more of these guys to the west of the outpost in the hill region south of the desert plains. I have pulled a queen mission once and only once I dont even try any more i wasted too much time trying to get it. The regular Bark Mite Burrower Lairs missions im my experience only spawn Bark Mite Burrower Drones. Only very rarely have I found a standard Bark Mite Burrower mixed with the Drones even when taping the lair till empty. Look for Bramble lairs and if you see all red its usually a BMB lair. They typically have 1-3 Bark Mite Burrowers out and one Queen. Sample the queen till death and tap the lair or leave and come back and a new queen will be out.
