Hi all.

I am just wondering if there is any easier or faster way to go up the DNA sampling tree.

Can anyone give me some quick tips on the fastest way to go up this tree?

Expect to get flamed for asking questions about how to do something when there are three other posts on the first page that tell you how.

I read all posts and the only one that mentions DNA Sampling XP is the one that uses an exploit in the Warren.

I am looking for a non-exploit way.

And I couldn't care less if someone decides to flame me.

well im new to BE, right now i'm 1/1/1/2 and a master ch. I have a few questions, if someone can be so kind as to answer them

1) I can't seem to get anything above an average dna sample, is this common at my level?

2) I sampled some dna last night from GSPs, i got average samples and i put all 5 of em into a kwi, which came out sucking( 2k ham on average). Did i pick a wrong skin to use? Does the quality of creature meat and resources matter?

3) i know the obvious difference between a low quality/below low quality/average sample, should these not be mixed and matched?

Maybe i'm just getting down on myself for nuthin', I really like BE and gonna stick with it, even tho in confused as hell as to what i am doing,

1 - Yes, at DNA Sampling 1, you won't see anything higher than Average Quality samples. This will improve as you level in the sampling tree. As you gain levels, you'll begin to see Above Average, High, and finally Very High at the Master Level.The frequency of higher level samples increases as you improve, while the lower ones start to disappear.(At master, you see HQ and VHQ most of the time, but you'll still see AA for example.)

2 - Quality of meat and floral no longer has any bearing. The final outcome of the creature is solely based on the quality of the DNA samples used and the amount of (successful) experimentation done in making that template. So of course, 5 VHQ samples will yield a much stronger creature than one made with 5 AQ samples.

3 - Mixing and matching is up to you, really. Since using higher quality samples tend to get better creatures, in theory, using lower quality DNA samples will lower the stats of the final creature template, which may have an effect on lowering CL, if that's what you're after. Of course, the exact way this affects everything is still a matter of speculation to this day, although we know quite a bit more than that first day! (Seems so long ago, but it really isn't, now that I think about it!)
