Bio Engineer Archive

Ok, lemme state right off the bat, I'm a holo BE. Ground out to master in two weeks.

I began the game wanting to be a Weaponsmith, became a master, and never really enjoyed the profession. Then went TK to stop the Desert Demons from mauling me when I checked my harvs, fun times. Upon initially finding out my first holo said Bio-Engineer, I was, to understate things, disheartened. However, almost immediately upon setting out on mastering the profession, I found I was having fun. At first it was just walking up to creatures and sticking a needle in it, watching it fall down, and laugh because I never had to touch it. Then it was taking those samples and playing Doctor Frankensteing making Semi-Super Kaadus and gnorts and the like (holy crap, did you just shove a graul into a Kaadu body?)

Basically, this profession seems to be fun, the tissues look to be useful (wish I could find some of the resources, err milk.), and just combining DNA and hoping for the best seems fun to me. Maybe its just me, maybe not, but I'd just like to say to anyone else that is looking at BE as a new home profession, its not bad, and can be really fun if you're into crafting and traveling. To all you other Mad Professors out there, my Bunny can eat your Kimo, mwahaha.

i'm not a holo grinder..i mastered CH and carbineer, cause that's what i wanted to do from day one. Carbineer got old really really quick. I'm not much for PvP, but i tried my luck at it, kicked some ass as a master carbineer then 3 days later dumped it, too dam boring. So i was trying to figure out what would go good with master CH? was gonna do pistoleer, but then i thought why do that? i'll just get stuck in the same rut again. So BE was my path, and im loving it. What a challenge too, i mean the crafting stuff i do all by macro mostly except when i'm making stock for vendors,., but the dna sampling and actually putting a creature together is quite fun, never gonna give this one up, i think i have found two professions worth keeping CH and BE
