Thread: Non BE Looking for help/info regarding Meats for Active Biosensors
I'm tired of running around trying to find a Master Bio Engineer that has +25 Active Bio Sensors, so I decided to come counsil with the professionals. I am in need of a few +25 Active Biosensors. I understand that the schematics call for Wild Meat, Insect Meat, Carnivore Meat? (not sure about this one, please clarify), and Flora Structural.
I was told at one time that all the stats that factor in are through OQ, PE, and Flavor....but what needs to be clarified is the exact quality----what is the MINIMUM requirements for each resource (please clear up the carnivore meat, I don't know if that's one or not)....anyway, for each resource as far as the level of PE, OQ and Flavor? Do ALL of them need to be in the 900's for every stat? Or can a couple be lower, say, down around the 800 or 700 range? Hopefully you guys see where I'm going with this------
Examples:
Insect Meat OQ= 937, PE= 813, Flavor= 933
Do all these stats in EVERY meat need to be like this? what variations can there be?
Please, your help would be much appreciated.

Can +25 tissues actually be made? I thought I read here that the actual max was much lower. But to get that high I'd think that all the resources would have to have nearly perfect (1000) stats.
Why not just some lower tissues and wear two items of clothes? Or better yet, get some striped slacks made with two +13 tissues - voila! - one +25 pair of pants. The max bonus per person is +25 anyhow.

You can't have a +25 Active Biosensor. Theoretically the best you can get is +20. In practice, the best you're going to find would probably be +18. More realistically, +16. If you're going to make a single piece of clothing with multiple biosensors, all you actually need is +13.
Flavor, Potential Energy and Overall Quality are the relevant stats for the meats, in equal proportions. Overall Quality for the wood. The higher the better. If you want a really, really good set of biosensors, you need at least 800s in all of them. To get a +13 Active Biosensor, I'm guessing an aggregate stat score (for all three together) of around 1,800 would get you what you want. But that's just a guess.
Depending on which piece of clothing you want to have the biosensors in, you probably want crated tissues. That burns up one helping of the resources to make the schematic, then the Tailor will burn at least one tissue making the synthetic cloth schematic. Then they can make it into clothing. At any point during this process, critical failures can eat everything, leaving no product. Once the schematics are made, though, the factories don't crit fail. Then the Tailor only has to worry about critical failures making the item of clothing itself.
For information on bio-enhanced clothing, check Boona Dakoo's Bio-Engineered Clothing Guide. It lists what resources are needed for which tissues, the types of cloth panel that go into clothing and whether or not they need to be factory-identical panels (which would require factory crates of tissue).
If you have further questions, please reply.
Hmmm..interesting
Actually, I didn't realize that the Med Treatment Mods could be maxed out--- In which case, I don't guess I need anymore. Your information was very helpful though, and has saved me a lot of time sans searching for all these exotic meats.
Thanks Again
