Any guides as to how much you charge for tissues, creatures or DNA samples?

Are there any sites that have a calculator?

I saw somewhere on this forum a thread for pet pricing, it made sense to me so i decided to go with it

3 creds per ham point

5k for each special

25k for armor

As for tissues i charge 150 creds per point( ex +3 bleed def tissue i would charge 450 creds)

Meds im in the dark i charge 750 for pet stim A, and 1000 for pet vitality pack A, they have been selling so i guess i will keep it that way

hope this helps in some way

For pets, just spam in coronet and ask for an offer. I made 540k in 3hours last night selling pets.

if you have the pts get a vendor and house. you can make the same amount in less time w/o having to hang around spamming.

as for how much i charged. 25-30k for non-ch. 40-60 for ch pets including kimos. i've always sold pets reletively low, even on the day non-ch were able to have pets. (1500 for any non-ch pet back in the days.)

A lot depends on where you are and what your tring to sell.

I sold 20 Pet Stim B's (16/477) in the Coronet bazaar the other day for 2750 each, but the only other ones listed were lower grade (like 13/400ish) and listed at 2500.

If you are on Endor or Dathomir and no one else has Stims listed, you could probably sell A's for 3k a pop, whereas on Tat A's would go for 500-1500 depending on availability.

It's supply and demand, if the demand is high and the supply low you can charge more. If you list stuff and it doesn't sell after a week, drop the price and try again, you'll start to get a feel for it after a while. Prices can also vary a lot from server to server (I'm on Ahazi).

Tissues I don't really bother with at the moment as the good ones have resource supply issues, and I can make more money from doing missions than I can from making base tissues...that could change if I find a reliable Tailor that needs them though.

I tend to charge 1K per CL. More if people want armor, poison, or disease attacks.

I'm with Vife. I am also a master creature handler. Most Creature Handlers charge 1k per CL. I've never looked at armor or special attacks to cost more, but mainly because the special attacks are still kinda shakey in getting them to work in battle, and normally the CL price is well high enough. The only thing I would be concerned about with BE pet prices, would be calculating the time to get the DNA, and also the other resources required to make pets.

I gave someone a good deal last night, sold a level 24 Torton with about 9k HAM for only 10k.

I'm such a sucker.

I was offering my level 40 Kimogila with 11k HAM and good resists for only 20k, but no takers.

I used to charge by the CL alone and that was the set price, sales were great.

Now since the patch I have changed my pricing matrix to this:

H + A + M+ 3k armor 1 + 1k per 10 resist + 2k per special.

Example:

Razor Cat, Lvl 32
H - 9330 -->$9330
A - 9186 -->$9186
M - 8145 -->$8145
Armor - Light -->$3000
Kinetic - 46-->$4600
Energy - 32-->$3200
Blast - 15-->$1500
Heat - 58 -->$5800
Cold - 58 -->$5800
Attack - 2.16
To Hit - 0.33
Dmg - 370-380
Special 1 - Crippling Strike -->$2000
Special 2 - Intimidation -->$2000
Ranged - No
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Final Price out the door ----> $54,561.00

This pet ended up being auctioned off, did not sell. Good thing cause I missed the armor on him. Put him on my vendor, and he sold 2 days later.

This pricing has worked well for me and I have had no complaints at all. Pricing like this also compensates for all the traveling, cloning, and healing.

I had stated in another post right after the patch this same method, but couldn't find it.

I charge more for armor, as few critters have it and it costs me a trip to Dath, cloning, and insurance to get it.

Same for Poison and disease, as there is a good chance I get poisoned or diseased before I get enough samples to make a good pet. Any other specials are free of charge.

One word on this, a lot of people equate quality with price. If you charge too little,many people won't even look at the pet as they think its junk.

My schema's fairly simple, since I'm also a CH and know what I like, and i get so many requests, I know what's in demand. So, I have 4 pricing bands:

anything without armor: light = 25k. Truthfully I'd be destroying these, but they seem to sell. This setting trumps all others.

anything > level 60 = 200k. Assuming, of course, light armor.

Anything with light armor < level 35 = 250k.

Anything else with light armor = 100k.

Seems to work out.
