Thread: Dantooine lag unbearable, what else can I sample for XP? (0-1-1-2 BE)

Lag on Dantooine? Hmm, well, generally I find lag there much less than most other planets, but you could probably go somewhere like Lok or Yavin which have semi-advanced level creatures and are sparcely populated.

Dant, lagged? Hmm, I've never noticed lag there. I mostly encounter lag on Tat, Naboo and Corellia.
That said, at low levels try sampling fambaas on Naboo. You can usually find a herd or two in the swamps west of Keren. Each one grants around 400 xp.
At higher levels, try Dath. Brackasets don't DB, which is nice, and provide a nice pile of XP. Nocuous kamuriths (which do DB) grant some 600 xp. I don't remember what the brackaset XP grant is, though I'm pretty sure it's higher than the fambaa xp grant.

I can't take the lag on Dantooine on the weekends where else can I go?

Same thing struck Corellia on Starsider a few days ago.
It started with actions/spatial chat taking a split second longer to register, then it grew worse. By the time I logged off that day, actions took close to a minute to register.
The same thing happened to me on Dantooine recently.
I blame the white man.

The lag on Dantooine is horrible on Gorath as well. So bad that sometimes you can't access vendors or open backpacks or ticket vendors (We have you there, you can't leave!!!). And if you crash during the lag fests, sometimes it's difficult to get back on. Why? No clue. I get way too many critical fails there. Also tells and guild chat tend to lag or crap out completely there.
As for the original question, If you are lower level DNA sampling, try Yavin IV. There are lots of non aggro things to play with around the outposts.

On corbantis dant is awful most of the time as well. I think it has something to do with the number of cities on the planet as it wasnt this bad untill they uped the city cap for the planet. off hours its almost playable but when the primtime holo campers get on your beter off being on a diff planet. I had some luck at DNA 2 on endor with swirlprongs and jaxes stay away from anything agressive though as they tend to agro alot more at low DNA from my experience.

I searched for Dantooine Lag haha. Came across this. Yes Dantooine is the most laggy planet on Lowca. It is ridiculous...I used to hunt there all day and night now Its unbearable.

You want lag? Go to the theed cantina during prime-time where all the holo entertainers are hgrouped. I went there the other day to get a mindbuff. It took 6 minutes for my spatial messages to register. I had a 28 second delay and 40% packet loss.

Dantooine NEVER lags for me. Infact it's the smoothed planet in my experiance.
