Bio Engineer Archive

So I am beginning my long Journy up the BE tree, by choice mind you, I don't holo grind, b/c I think its stupid and a horrible Jedi system. Regardless this isn't about the bad Jedi system... its about Bio Engineer work.

So I know a lot of people who do professions just for holo's. And as they do any Artisan type of profession, they simply grind in practice mode... so all the resources they use go to waste... Now forpurely grinding maybe this is the way to go, but it seriously bugs me that so much stuff just goes to waste... I also know a lot of people that have chosen masteries, that do the same thing to get master, once again a waste in my mind.

I hate spending materials on something I don't make, unless it is really bad, and then I practice it, and even then it is only sometimes. What I have foudn is that a couple people, particularly in my PA, who are doing thnigs for fun, not for a grind, are more than willing to pick up my low level stuff, like light nutrients and low level tissues, just as an extra. They make food/clothes with them and turn around and sale them for a bit more than they could sale them without the extra's. Even if they don't charge more, they do seem to sale a little more easily.

With DNA I Have from grinind the DNA tree, I make creatures, and while most are below level 10 right now, and none all that impressive, the people who are working on CH in my PA are more than happy to take all the little creatures I make... Heck at 1200 or so xp a piece who cares if they suck, they just want to tame and train. Needless to say I am sure a ton of my mutant pets are running around in the wild around my town...

I just wanted to know what all of you think about wasting what you make. Most chefs have no problem paying a lil bit of money, say 5-50 cpu of things I make even at low level b/c they add to what they are making. Though I usually offer them for free to guildies, or for favors ;-) So what do you all say to this? What do you do or did you do? Thanks in advance for the comments
