Depends. I'm assuming your talking pet meds here. For pet stims then yes tha quality can make a large difference. Advanced sub will generally do you more good than non-advanced, especially if they are made by master doctors. Specifically you want ALS's and ACDRM's experimented for maximum power. You want ABEC's experimented for maximum charges. However on pet vitality packs the answer is NO, your wasting your money/resources/time getting advanced or even high quality components.

By the way I strongly recommend going through the BE FAQ that Talthazar has collated and stickied at the top. If you skip past the HoloGrind section you will find many very useful pieces/information that a lot of the better BE's around have spent a lot of effort to put together.
