Thread: Pet level over 70

I've been master BE for about a week now and I've made some amazing pets, some over level 70. I made one that was level 82 recently and aparently it was so high I couldn't even sample it again. I'm wondering if pets are supposed to be unusable like this or if that's a game flaw? Also, is there any use for these high level pets? I have heard of clothing that adds to creature level people can handle.

The highest level creature you can sample is 75, so any pets you make over that level are just furniture. The highest level creature that can be controlled by a CH is level 70 (even with taming clothing), so any creature over that level can't be used as a pet.

Not true. I have sucessfully sampled from CL78 clones. Only managed one sample before it poofed, but at least it was something.
