Thread: BE Craft exp without crafting?

A good friend of mine is a BE, and as she logged in today she noticed she had 3k BE crafting exp that she didn't have when she logged out last night, and she certainly didn't craft in her sleep...so is there a way to get craft exp without ACTUALLY crafting?

if other people make creatures out of DNA templates you create you get craftign exp. I used to buy blurrg DNA templtes from novice BE's for 500cr each, would just shout in Dantooine Imperial outpost, helped many a novice get their sampling exp off piket longhorns, teach them to make templates out in the field then sell them to me.


Course I haven't messed with that since the bigcloning changes.

She hasn't given away any of her templates...she just gives the pets she makes to me....

I made about 500 tissues for a friend(tailor) and gave them to him over a few days, he made them into clothes and I am sure I got some exp from my cloths being used.

Can someone confirm this happens?

Also would I get the same exp if they were produced in a factory, I know I get no exp for the creation of the tissues, but if they were used in clothes/food would I get any exp?

Good question. I would also be interested in this answer. I just made 100 constrictor cloths in a factory, and am wondering if I will get crafted item use XP.


Also, do we get any CIU from pets that are sold/given away? I'm thinking no, because I have sold or given away a lot of pets (6 CL10 mounts just this past weekend) and haven't noticed any real jumps in XP.


Also, I make and sell LOTS of pet stims, and I don't think I get any CIU XP from those being, does anyone know if doctors/medics get CIU from their stims?


Just wondering.
