As the title says, I have questions! This is by far the most complexe class in the game that I've tried so far, and I'm really enjoying it. But there are a few things I just don't get yet. Mostly on experimentation. I understand which things effect Health/Action/Mind, which where to place DNA in a template to get the specials you want (usually). I know that experimenting on Physique can raise resists and a Fortitude over 500 = armor (although I haven't come close lmao. My best was about 200 using Gurk DNA).
So here are my questions.
What does Psychological Profile do, and why is it so high on newbie mob DNA?
Prowess raises Health, resists and can produce armor with a fortitude over 500?
Physique increases Action correct? Does it do anything else?
Mental increases Mind correct? Does it do anything else?
Agression increases attack/dmg etc correct? Does it do anything else?
How do you tell the CL of a creature before you create it? Is there any way? Right now I have no idea until the creature is made. I have a feeling it has something to do with the other stats, but is there a way to have a good idea of what the CL will come out to be?
Last but not least, how do you guys price your creatures? By CL, specials or HAM or? What are your guidelines and price suggestions. I just made a bunch of really nice CL15-20 creatures using Gurk DNA, all of them have 5k ham+ 120-130dmg or so and 2 nice specials, and 40% kinetic to boot
Thanks to anyone who can answer my questions, while I'm learning fast, theres so much more to learn!

The FAQ explains things in detail, but I know it's quite a lot to digest and since you've already read it a few times, I'll offer some of my own experiences (I can't gurantee it's 100% reliable though).
Psycology influences quite a few stats, including tohit, attack speed, damage and intellect (which is related to mind). If I remember correctly, experimenting on psycology tends to affect the attack speed the most. I don't know the reason why this stat is high on newbie mob dna (I never really noticed).
Prowness has the biggest influence on the action bar. Experimenting on prowness will raise the action of the pet. Prowness does also influence health and resists, but to a lesser extent than physique.
Physique has the biggest influence on the health bar, resists and on fortitude. Experimenting on physique will raise the health of the pet. Experimenting will also raise fortitude, which will give the pet light armor if it exceeds 500.
Mental influences the mind bar. It also has a big influence on the tohit stat on the pet and the attack speed to a lesser extent.
Aggression affects the damage, correct. It has a lesser influence on attack speed, resists and fortitute (for armor).
You can't really tell whatlevel the pet will be until you create it. I justto go ahead and make the pet and document the dna samplesused andwhat Iexperimented on so thatI can re-create it if it turns out to be a nice result.
Pricing is a tough question to answer becasue there is such a big variation in pricing outthere. I personally use a base price per CL and have additionalprices for extras that I will tag on to the final price. For example, I will add on a bitextrafor high kinetic, armor and the desirable specials such as intimidation and strong poison. I willalso add a bit extra on pets that are at the duo and triplets levels and also pets that use rareor hard to get dna samples.I would say that the prices of my petsrange from 20k to over 150k.

Thanks so much for the answers, although I had hoped there was a defined way to tell what your CL would end up being, ah well I'll have to get out a notebook and record all the details so that I can repeat them later, as you suggested.
I guess to get an idea on prices my best bet is to tour some of the BE shops on my server.
Thanks again
