I'm cross-posting this on the CH forum in the hopes of getting an answer (both forums seem a little.. slow.)

I'm a 2/0/3/1 Bio-Engineer and I just picked up CH after some hunting on Dant

Anyway, I came home and immediately started taming some pets I had made.. realized a few were to high lvl yert lmao. But at any rate.. I then went and made a really nice bocatt with Piket Plainswalker & Bocatt DNA, here are his stats

CL11 Bocatt
HAM: 4968/4268/3568
Kinetic: 26%
Cold: 4%
Attack Speed: 2.24
To Hit: .23
Damage: 120-130
Special 1: Dizzy Strike
Ranged Attack

Now by what I know, I should be able to tame this sucker. He's CL11, my max is 12 as a novice. I don't know about any other restrictions. However, when I attempt to tame him, I get the message 'You lack the skill to tame this creature'. Now WTH? I cant figure out why I cant tame this sucker!

Just FYI I have no other pets out and only have 2 creatures and 2 droids in my datapad..

Fix the forums so they work properly with Firefox! PLEASE!

A bobcat is a AGRESSIVE skin thus you'll need to have at least 2xxx in CH if i remember correctly

So I cant use an agressive pet without 2/x/x/x? To bad.. cause my plans are 0/3/1/4 :/ Ah well, guess I'm not using any agressive mobs for pets. I'll have to try and make a clone out of him with a less agressive 'skin'

Fix the forums so they work properly with Firefox! PLEASE!

Pets are either agressive or not. Check the BE FAQ for information on which skins are agressive.

I had petitioned for a csr last night about this, before I knowticed this post. After some q&a he determined that any non creature handler can not tame any bio creatureeven if its level is below 10, if that creatures natural counterpart is agressive ae cons red on the radar screen. So those non creature handlers out there that want a low level bocatt, choku and other aggressive type critters are tough out of luck even if thier below 10. I believe the bugged part about it was that the message I recieved when I tried to add it to my datapad was that I had exceded my maximum number of pets. I didnt have any pets in my data pad and was quite confused.
