Ok, a week ago I had a question about Force Strike and remember someone saying that it, as well as knockdown and something else doesn't transfer to a pet when combining DNA. I guess I misinetepreted what was said since knockdown can come out in the specials on a pet. Does the non-transfer that was talked about really mean that the KD can't be used? If this is the case, have the Devs ever stated why certain attack types cannot be used by BE pets? Also, if the same pet that I got the KD special from could be trained by a CH, can they use the KD from a natural pet?

Knockdown can be transfered to clones. The specials that can't be transfered are any of the AOE or force specials.
As far as knockdown working or not, it doesn't 'seem' to work. Its can't be done 'on command' and if it works, it only works on NPCs, not creatures.
The devs have never said why certain specials can't be used on clones. My only guess would be to provide a balance between CH's and BE's. This allows CH's to have a pet that they can tame and train that can do something BE pets can't.
