Thread: An idea for a formula, and a thought on experimentation

PS. I dont think you can make a 1st gen pet with all those criteria without using Rancor DNA...there's just nothing else that stacks with the right vulns and resists. Maybe something like MH YMP MR HP Rancor might work...MH YMP X X Rancor will pretty much guarantee AR1 60KR stun/intim as long as X X dont have any resists over like 80, so it allows you a little flexibility which is nice. Just have to make sure XX is AA and Rancor is VHQ to preserve specials.

OK here's the formula I'm looking at....not claiming it hasnt been done yet butI did derive it myself.
MH MH CBD CBD DMA
VHQ on all.
Ack, that's kind of a waste isn't it?
Now when I was looking at the DNA lab on this one i noticed the damage and to hit was starting at 250-260 2.16/0.26 and max experiment was 390-400 1.98/0.37. If you were just to max one line or the other (aggression for damage, psych for speed and to-hit) you'd get either 250-260 1.98/.37 which gives you(255*.37)/1.98=47.7 DPS, or (395*.26)/2.16=47.5 DPS. So, maxing either line has the same weight on the final DPS, except its kind of understood that while psych has little effect on the final CL, aggression can shoot up your CL really fast. That being said, why would you ever want to put points in aggression, unless you were trying to get up the CL for a CH who just wants a bragging pet? =)
I don't believe you'll get any boost to "to-hit" by experimenting just on psych. You would have to experiment on mental too. So those lines are not equal at all.
just aggression: 395 x .26/2.16 = 47.5
just mental: 255 x .37/2.16 = 43.6 (plus you get a boost to mental HAM)
just psych: 255 x .26/1.98 = 33.5
So that's why experimenting on psych has minimal effect, experimenting on mental has more, and experimenting on agrresion has the biggest effect on CL.

Merek Harvester (Fortitude min630)
Merek Harvester (Fortitude min630)
BMB Queen (Fortitude min608)
Thune Leader (Fortitude min 508)
Narglatch Matriach (Fortitude min 150)
Must make sure the samples have at least these min fortitudes (the quality doesnt matter for this) and that the Narglatch is HQ or VHQ - VHQ is better
And voila. However, you may find it easier to collect rancors than matriach narglatches.
If you could bear to do two gens its easy with female nargs
MH Thune Leader Kima Picket Longhorn Female Narglatch
Then get a good HQ or VHQ sample
MH MH TL TL Clone will give you a good creature. You can put clone instead of TLs if you want to keep the cl down.
This also give you acid resists - which may or may not be important. One day NancyJ will let us know

Um.......What do those abbreviations stand for? I know MH is Merek Harvester, but I don't know the rest. Actually, some kind of list of them would really help.......I always get confused.
i was confused as well...... lol i NEVER sample on corellia *ducks*
but from the new legend thread, here's your answer:
DMA = Delirious Merek Assassin. Endor.
CBD = Correlian Butterfly Defender. Correlia, obviously.

You should try the CBDs out...great vulns and intim, good stock for making PvE tanks
