For thoseBE's thatlive on Flurry and can create pet stims...

If you can create just a few more pet stim vendors you would get lots of business from me and some my CH guildmates, along with a few hugs and cheers and bithday parties... or I don't know, I'll buy you something how about that?

...please? We really need pet sims...

I think it will take a *lot* of demand for pet stims before any Bio Engineers will start to make them in large quantities for sale to the public. The problem is, pet stims generally have lower power than people stims, pet stims have a delay between uses (similar to the delay that people stims *should* have, but that was broken a few publishes back, so now people stims are only a second or so apart), and finally, the actual healing power of pet stims is exactly what is stated on the stim while people stims gain a *huge* boost in actual healing power from the Injury Treatment skill. Also, since pet stims require the same sub-components as people stims, the BE will need to obtain those quality components from a Master Chemist (Doctor |X|X|X|4|) if they cannot make them themselves, and if a Doctor is doing factory runs on quality sub-components, it's very likely that they'd rather use those sub-components to create their own medicines to sell. This complicates things quite a bit.

On the other hand, pet stims really aren't that hard to make if you have the resources and connections available, especially if you and your CH friends are willing to help out the BE who is doing the factory runs for you. Pet Stim B uses Talusian Vegetable Fungus and Fiberplast, which are always available, though the quality will vary from shift to shift; a good Pet Stim B with quality advanced components will probably have a power rating around 750 or so. Pet Stim C is more difficult to manufacture, because it requires Dathomirian Insect Meat as the biological ingredient; that's where your CH crew comes in, since CH typically excel at harvesting creature resources, though the Dathomirian Insect Meat will come solely from the gaping spiders and their poison can get pretty nasty. Pet Stim D are almost never made in factory runs of more thana handful, because they require fish meat as the biological component, and anyone who has ever fished in SWG knows how agonizingly little fish meat you get for the time you spend getting it. If there's a good fish meat in the shift, and you can get lots of people to go fishing (have a contest or something), then you can harvest enough for a large factory run; otherwise, you're pretty much stuck using Pet Stim C or Pet Stim B, depending on the resources available. Pet Stim D also requires Dantooinian Fiberplast, which is specific enough to make finding good quality an issue.
