What's sad is they put that slot in, what... *counts on his fingers* 10 months ago? And we STILL don't have a clue what it is, does, or how to get it. Heh.

Minor nitpick: they added the slot 7 months ago(maybe 8 if you count TC). The chef revamp was in February.

I cornered GreenMarine at Fan Fest, and he said that at that time* the secret research data--while not dropping in the game--had all the design/specifications done, and most if not all of the coding. It was to be a one-time use item (so no factory runs), but giving a massive bonus to the additive. It sounded like the improvement was something along the lines of doubling the bonus. I think they were/are waiting for more data from food usage with normal additives before putting it in, and maybe even the possibility of including this with some BE-specific crafters dungeons/quests.

Now all they need to do is Make the Master Chef Barrels work. I mean you can't make them till you get to master Chef (what a reward for your efforts, a broken barrel). Then when they put the secret research data into the game, we can make a BSN with a +150 (guessing) to make a brandy with a bonus of upwards of 500, in a barrel that should have around 50 usages or more. That would be nice... to see the game work the way it is supposed to in the small areas like that. And they think that the small problems don't affect the game.

I stand corrected. Still, even armorsmiths only went 3-4 months or so before their enhancements were found/added (not exactly sure which it was, probably both, heh).

I'd find this secret research data just to make one tissue? Like a chef is going to buy that one tissue to make one bottle of brandy.
Now I can go home with a smile on my face.

More than likely PvPers will be buying the stuff and taking it the BE then the Chef to get their Uber Brandy and saving it for special occasions

Okay, that makes more sense. I'm still going home with a smile though.

Anyone tried using the Force Fruit from the plant you get from the FS quests as secret research data?
