Howdy.

I recently just made 3 pets. 2 kimos and a rancor. The rancor was very nice, 12k ham (mostly), 700 max dmg, but only 25 kin. I couldnt use it because it was ql 75 *sigh*

what would u suggest, since im keeping the 2 kimos, should i use to make a good all around pet with decent kinetic resist? thanks

Since you are going for all around I'd go with a combo of Mutant Rancor DNA and Bark Mite Burrower Queen DNA, those were pretty much my two favorites, hehe. You could throw a bit of Merek Harvester in there too to be sure you get the max Kinetic, but if you use all MR and BMBQ DNA you should hit the kinetic cap without much trouble. Just be careful on your experimentations if you use more MR than BMBQ DNA, the MR is cl 75 of course and the BMBQ is 65.

Queens are on Endor, it can take a while to find one if you don't have ranger tracking (which I didn't when I did it, heh) but it was rare for me to go looking for one and not eventually find a lair that spawned them.

And it shouldn't matter if you use Rancor or Kimogila as the skin, as both are agressive and have almost the same min skin levels (rancors at 30, kimos at 35). And I'm sure you already know about the attack distance issues on the Kimos, that their ideal attack distance is much farther than normal, which can cause them to run from a smaller creature with a shorter ideal distance (Kimo get's his ideal, other moves into his ideal, kimo backs up into his ideal again, rinse, repeat, running kimo). So, the Rancor would probably be better over all, though as far as stats go there should be no difference.

But be sure you experiment Psych to the max, it doesn't affect CL or stats but it DOES affect how much your pet runs when it starts to get beat up (not from the attack distance issue, but really running away). I see a lot of people neglecting it.

Good luck!

You can't max out Kinetic resist using MR and BMBQ dan since BMBQ dna is 60% kinetic and MR is 45%. A normal BMB has 65, but if you don't want to mess around with the pain in the butt that multi gen sampling can be with high level creatures, you get an assured 60% kinetic blending MR and MH, but you will have a vulnerablity in energy, if that matters to you.
