Thread: DNA from BE pets?

i noticed i can sample DNA from BE pets i have made.. how many times can i do this and is it as good as the DNA i used to make it?
any help here, im lost? please. Thanks!

Yep, it's the cool thing to do. You can sample from the things in your inventory until they poof out. Generally the higher level the pet is the greater chance that it's going to disappear.

ooooooh yes.multigenerational sampling is what makes the best pets (in terms of resists / level ratio). Generally, resampling pets lowers overall creature level (obviously depending on what DNA you use in the other slots) and offers you the chance to add/remove resists as you see fit. You can sample things indefinately. I myself have gone crazy sometimes resulting in 20 generation pets ![]()
I'm glad you found this out, you now have an entire new doorway to making neat pets ![]()

Resampling pets allows you to work for lower CL and specific resists or specials. In order to acheive the lower CL, you will have to sacrafice some HAM or Damage output if you want to keep the same resists. But dropping the mindbar to half or lower of the health bar, has no effect on a pet's ability to tank PvE.
