Thread: Question for all BE's
If the bio-engineer professions does get scrapped , what will happen?
BTW I'm only 2-3-2-3 So I guess I haven't had to put up with it as long as many,but I am going to go for master.
It is pointless to speculate. Most likely we'd just get our skill credits back with a heartfelt, soul wrenching,don't-drink-anything-while-you-read-it-unless-you-want-it-spewing-from-your-nose appology.

* I don't think they'll scrap the class. It might scrap itself through neglect, but you'd think that if they were going to scrap it they would have scrapped it before they shipped.
It won'tbe scrapped. Updates are already in the works, and they have made BE one of the required classes for takingover a faction base. A BE mustbe present to resequenceone of the terminals.
We are needed. Most people just don't know it yet.

I really doubt the profession will be scrapped. I mean even with all of our complaints about what's broken I'm still having loads of fun with this profession and I know many others are also. After everything gets fixed (yes it may be a long while, but still) I think this is gonna be one of the better professions.
It wont be scrapped cause the whole game would need rebalancing more than it currently does, with the bio-engineer being a support profession what effects us effects everything in the game we sit so close to the foundation that any changes to us have wide reaching ramifications. Also the customer service issue would be a nightmare, people would start to think that if bio-eng can be removed on a whim then what happens to chefs, smugglers, droid engineers and several other professions that need totally revising like we currently are going through (apparently)
