Thread: Any Bio-Engineers on Gorath that can fill a Large order of Food Additives?

- posted in the auction channel in game
- stood in Cnet shouting
- scaled the tallest mountain
and I can't find a Bio-Engineer who can fill a large order of Food Additives for me.
So I have a question, are there any of you guys left on Gorath?!?!

The reason no one can fill your orders is that there hasn't been decent BE meat on Gorath in a LONG time, with the exception of a very brief run of Dath Carn meat. My factory ATE my meat without giving me a factory run, and while a CSR reimbursed part, the products made from it were gobbled up as soon as they were made.
Schematic-making destroyed the BE market on Gorath, and it has never recovered. Buff-making seems to have driven the meat prices through the roof and made meat with high OQ and PE almost unavailable. Since I can't fill orders, I keep my title turned off and don't advertise.
Result: low additive prices with high meat prices and general unavailability of the 20K of meat it takes for each factory run (with a tiny bit added for making the schematics) has led to a shortage of BE's and an even worse shortage of BE products.
Whenever I DO get meat, I put full factory runs of food additives in backpacks on my vendor at -6600 4600 Naboo (Theed). Prices are usually 25/35/45 per crate for light/med/heavy additives using the best resources I can find. I've resisted the temptation to take advantage of the shortage and allow the prices to skyrocket, but the additives never last long on the vendor, so it stays empty most of the time.I have also given a loyal guildmate chef priority, since he's gone so far as to GIVE me the meat to make the additives.
If you have any creative solutions toour meat shortage, I'd love to hear them.
Again, this isn't a trade forum, but the issues involved are typical BE issues. The post "Why can't I find a BE on my server" explains it far better than I can.

In Texas, we are all too familiar with theold cliche, "If one washes their car, it will most definitely rain"

I'd be glad to wash my Flash Speeder if it will cause it to rain good carnivore meat. It sounds a little gross, but BE's are used to dealing in gross stuff.
oh, you mean make up a batch of bad nutrients? LOL. I have lots of scraps. Perhaps I should make a dozen or so MNS and put them on the vendor for 10 cr each.

OQ 85 Dath Carn Meat has been out for 10 days now. Maybe today.
