I ama new MBE and I've got a contract to make a good PVP pet. The only thing they'd like for the pet to have is a Dizzy special attack and it to be a cat. They aren't a CH so I have to get it down to level 10. I've tried multiple combinations of DNA, but i just can't seem to get a good combination. Anything I try always comes out above level 10. The lowest I've gotten is a level 13 gurrcat with about 2K HAM and really crappy resists. How can I get a decent PVP pet down to a level 10? I'm at a loss. I've tried making level 16s and 13s then sampling them and trying to keep some of the stats, while lowering the level.
Any ideas on some strong kinetic resist, low CH level DNA anywhere?

I think the idea is to use high resist DNA, then when you make your first pet, sample it to get the same resists, but lower HAM, and then just keep this up until its low enough.

The idea is to incorporate a number of vulnerabilities in the resists. If you have a pet with only kinetic resists with the rest vulnerable, you'll have a much easier time fitting into CL 10 than if you have other resists that have 0+ resists. Oh, and stay away from experimenting on aggression.
The FAQ that's sticky above has a ton of good intfo on building pets with a section on non-CH ones.
It's interesting that dizzy is the only thing they'd care about. I have a customer who uses a cat he bought off me to help hunt Jedi, he's been fairly successful too. He liked it well enough that he bought another cat for a friend. The player knowing exactly what they want out of a pet pays a lot of dividends here.

You cant make a decent PvP pet - its impossible, pets die too easy in PvP, even at MCH levels, let alone a CL10. They'll only get any use out of it against newbies who dont understand the basic tenets of PvP fighting, really. That being said, the idea, as was mentioned, is to maximize the kinetic resists, get vulns to everything else, and preserve the specials you want. Merek Harvester is an excellent source of DNA for this kind of endeavor, and readily makes CL10s with a variety of similar recipes in just 2 generations with HAM significantly above that which you're getting right now.

Go here: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=portfolio&portfolio_id=3829, read the title, go to the bottom and click the Sepham link. You'll see the cat I made for this guy. I'm the first to admit I'm no expert in SWG PvP but look at the list of pics he has and I get the feeling he might know a thing or two about PvP. If he's happy using a pet then it must be useful.

Thanks for the advice guys. I had a good idea of how to do it, I just don't really know what DNA to stick in there. I think I'll try some of the Endor creatures. Thanks for the advice again, now I have a better starting point.
