Thread: Resource Stats for Nutrients Question

Since I'm a scout, I sometimes try to collect meat that can be used for BE food supplements. Usually I will only collect the really good stuff that is obviously good for it, but I'm curious if anyone has an idea of what stats you need on the resources to reach certain stats on the end product. I'm not even exactly sure what good stats are for the end product. I've heard that +85 or better is good for the medium additives. I'm not sure what is good for the small and large additives. I'd like to know this for the non-creature resources as well. Really just the overall weighted average of all the resources that you need to accomplish the end stats desired. I've been a BE once and I know there is only one line to expirement on for these things. If I could just know what the final expiremental percentage is that you need, I can use the normal crafting formula to figure out what I need. Just looking for someone to throw me a bone here so I can know what the minimum quality a resource can be in order for it to be any good in making the nutrient supplements. Then I can figure that anything of that quality or better is worth harvesting. Thanks for the info ahead of time.

What is acceptable is very server-dependent, depending on what meat has been available on your server.

BE's in general need meat high in OQ, PE, and Flavor at 50%/30%/20%, respectively, and they need a LOT of it (20K unit stacks are typical). An excellent meat will have 900's in all three stats. A good meat might have values such as 950/850/800. Tissue prices limit what they can pay for the meat, so the more profitable meat will come from high-yield creatures. Dathomir carnivore meat seems to be a frequent favorite. On my server, I typically sell broad spectrum nutrient supplements for 35K a crate, and the chefs have been complaining about my prices. Each crate has, among other ingredients, 500 units of meat in it. At the current nutrient prices, I wouldn't be able to pay 50 cpu for meat and make a profit. The last amount I heard offered for meat was 200 cpu. Fortunately, this was Dathomir Avian meat, which is used in buffs, so perhaps when good Dathomri Carnivore meat becomes available,t he price won't be so high.

If you contact a BE on your server (either through the trade forums, getting a name off a BE vendor, or by an in-game search), and mention that you would like to supply meat, I think you might find a very grateful BE on your hands.

Well does anybody have a chart of what expiremental percentage translates into what actual values on each of the nutrients? I'm assuming that there's likea range of 10 between what's good from server to server.

If you check the BE FAQ under Useful Links (Thread stickied at top of Forum), theres a link to a tissue calculator that will work out the stats from any given meat and flora. You can use this to work out the average stats yourself, or even more usefully, check out the current/past spawns to see what they would make when mixed.

Everquest2 - Splitpaw: Sesskia <United Kingdoms> - Merccia - Tercia - Kasshia
Star Wars Galaxies - Chimaera: Zoxara (Sleeping) - Lloyd (Sleeping) - Buttercup (Cancelled) - Nublet (Cancelled)

Thanks for the info, that gives me the solution I was looking for.

And thanks to all the people who didn't respond and decided to one-star me instead. And some people wonder why this game is going downhill.
