Just wanna say a very warm, merry christmas to all BEs out there (and the forum trolls) and hope you are enjoying your well deservedtime off. Its been a great year for BEs I think, we got a couple of fixes at the start of the year. We got good business with our tissues and enjoyment from making pets, so in all in all I can say the devs have done a pretty good job with our profession. With that being said, we know there are a few changes that do need changing, especially clarification on 'exploit' pets. We need redefining in the global economy and update ingredient lists for our additives. So look out for those.

Wanna say a special thank you to our previous correspondant, NancyJ, on her brilliant representation skills and the overall job she did this year. Nice one, Nancy . Weawaitthe reign of our new correspondant, ArthurDentOnBria, who has represented us at FanFests and pressed many interesting questions to the SOE staff. I'm personally looking forward to seeing how Arthur is going to deal with the extra pressures of being the game'stop BE but from his forum posts I can see that he is going to do a great job

So everyone, have a good holiday and if see a reindeer out there make sure you get a sample!

Well said Zad.

I started playing in late Feb, and have been BE for over half my time. We haven't had any major changes since I started playing BE, however we should be thankful for what we have. There is some ambiguity over exploit pets, and there are issues with DNA storage and resource requirements, however there are plenty of other professions that need more attention than ours. SOE have recently said they have increased team size by approx 20 more people, whoare there toadd more content andlook at non-combat professions, so 2005 could be a good year for us.

Also even though Arthur has Nancy's big shoes to step into, i'm certain we have a great new representative.

Very nice post Zad, thanks for putting that in perspective.

I think there is reason for optimism in '05. We have the combat upgrade to look forward to, and with some extra development resources, I'm hopeful that we can push through some enhancements and fixes. Here in the forum, early in the year I'd like to put more effort into figuring out the elusive "to-hit" value, take a new pass at what our top BE issues are, and also organize some kind of in-game BE meetup event.

Here's to a great '04, and an even better '05

Happy Holidays everyone

That would be top-notch! We can all make n00bs on a random server and have a get together a bit more fun than posting on the forums
