So to confirm, regardless of what the armor effectiveness says on the pet deed, the armor is determined by CL level correct? Has anyone verifed to see how much damage the pet takes?

The reason I asked this question, is because the stats on my datapad once the pet is tamed are the same as the deed. So the deed and dattapad have invalid stats?

how many times have you called the pet?
it may take a few calls to reset the stats.
armor effectiveness, to-hit, and defense ALL rewrite to CL-based values, ignoring the crafted and experimented value. this also happens to DroidE's in their craft.

Yep, that was it. I think it reset on the 2nd or later call. Thanks.

Um, slightly on a side note (since it sounds like you are more saying stats are holding after being called a few times?): Armor effectiveness does seem to effect the CL quite a bit. But I've tested this with dozens of pets I've made. I isn't the only factor. It feels like all the stats have a max they can be for each CL. So when one of the stats gets higher than that cap it bumps the CL up 1. When I tested all the pets it felt like the armor effectiveness has more weight than other things, such as health.. and Intellect.
