As best we know, Corvis, that is correct.

I imagine you should still be able to give ranged attacks to pets, but from what I have heard, samples (or was it clones?) aren't getting the ranged to stick. Pets may still be able to have specials crafted under the new system, however they may be retrainable. We really don't know at this point as we have been told very little.

I have been getting ranged attacks to stick from-very high quality samples.

Visit the Credit Sink - outside of Coronet 884 -4778, just look for Jenny. Drop off anything you would like to sell or take a look around and purchase something.

CH is getting a fix/change to specials. They will be very different from how it used to be. So actually, I'd ignore specials for now. From w hat I heard it was going ot be more of a system of you go tame an animal that has a special, then you learn it's special and train it to your pets of choice. I'm guessing all pets will have a limit of like 2 specials, so you could only train a pet 2 specials you know.

you have to sample pets that have those things to begin with, other than that i can't help you as i'm kind of new myself

to my understanding, there are no BE pets that have specials or ranged attacks, ever since CU. the specials and ranged attack system is being reworked by the devs atm and CH will be the one giving a specific pet the special it wants, not the BE.

correct me if i'm wrong though, cause thats what i read.
