In the proposed revamp to the Cloning line this should be possible. But don't hold your breath.

The proposal would allow the BEs to add armor and specials to the pets they are making. There is no talk of there ever being a way that you could bring in your own pet, and have a BE add armor to it, if that is what you are asking?
