Well after someone told me about 'organic droids' were in the Warren along with an 'organic AT-ST' I simply had to go have a look. Saddly while it seems that someone got their facts wrong about these being organic droids I did find a few species which you won't find anywhere else plus a very very handy feature for bio-engineers who are working up the sampling tree.

Near to the start of the Warren (i think it's once you get down the first elevator) you'll come across a large room with around half a dozen caged enclosures which contain a number of species like Bol, Slice hounds and a one of a kind Warren Thune. These range from around CL20-30 making them ideal means of dna exp. The other nice things is that because they are behind cages they cannot get to you plus they appear to give unlimited dna samples. I sampled the Warren Thune at least 17 times without it dying and while the dna isn't fantastic for rancor and such it's decent enough for everything else. This room is also enemy free so there are no combat skills needed. By all accounts you could sit in the room with a droid containing a food and chem station and grind clones from dawn until dusk... or until you ran out of meat and flora

Now that I've mentioned this expect it to be nerf'd very quickly so get on the next shuttle to Dantooine and get yourself into the Warren.

Oh and make sure you get a v. high quality sample from the Warren Thune since it makes for a nice trophy as it's the only one in existance.

haha, good find! Sounds like an easy place to stock up on <CL25 DNA if I can find one of those over 25...

now tomorrow watch it as it "magicly fixed" and no one can use it.

This is simliar to Jabba' rancor, if I'm remembering correctly.

And yeah, they'll fix this eventually as its an exploit if the creatures can't get to you in retaliation.

I need DNA 4 and then I'm Master of my Domain. I'll pop on over there to give it a try, assuming Wanderhome comes up today.

ya I found this last night when did the warren. I suspect it will get changed soon like they did the rancor.

Anyone with Master Scout can walk around this dungeon freely until they hit the rogue droids. I collected 5 of the quest items without firing a shot. But to get to the sampling area you need to get past several droids that dislike you intensely. Since I have basically no combat skill left after focusing on BE, I waited until someone else had cleared the droids. After that, more droids. Ahh well. Back to Endor. Better quality samples and it flows pretty fast with DNA 3.

Just went down there and all the creatures are gone Wow did not take them long to nerf that you should have keep your mouth shut

hey tal.. just a question.. cause i went down there today..and i DNA sampled everything in there till it died.. they never respawned... (err.. one of the slice hounds was unsampleable for some reason)..

even 2 hrs later they were still gone.. =( .. its faster to just hit up nightspiders and such for decorative pets... i'd probably only go back there to make 7+ kahmurras or something.. heh

Either that or there does turn out to be a way to kill them all....
