Master Tailor and former BE dablerhere and I'll mirror this in the Tailor Forum...

The max skill mod on one article of clothing is +25 for that skill...

Is it also +25 for the body? Or could I make a hat with +14, and a shirt with +14 and actually yield results of +28 on my person? I know that the stats SHOW +28, but is it effectivly +28.

Obviously a +3 difference won't be huge, but being able to craft a potent +100 set of clothes would be nice. I just thought that a body was capped at +25 per skill for the entire body.

Thanks!

max level is +25 per clothing... the separate pieces of clothing DO stack. Right now I have +45 camo, +115 mods on my outfit.

That is true on the stacking, BUT only +25 is calculated on yoru mods - even though it may say +115 -......

There is no way to know for sure, but tests have indicated that you will get the same results from a +25 as you will from a +100. Of course, other tests have indicated that you get the same results from +0 as +25, so your mileage will vary.
