Hello fellow bio-engineers,

Yesterday, I was given a very valuable and very rare gift... 3 pre-patch DNA samples taken from a Kimogila. Here is what they are:

Obviously, these samples are incredible. 1000 ratings in several statistics, medium armor, etc.

I also know that I can't combine these into the same clone, for a couple reasons. First being I assume the CL is still 90 from these samples (wish the samples told the CL... grrr...) so 3 of them would be overkill, and an untamable clone unless I used dumbed down DNA to augment it, which defeats the purpose.

I am deathly afraid of critical failing away all three samples, so I am 99% sure I will refuse to use them all in the same clone. I can perhaps be persuaded to use 2... According to Talthazar's Test Center experiments and what other people have posted on the forums, I'm seeing that the most important DNA seems to be in the Physique and Aggression slots, so maybe one of each of these in those slots would do.

I'm also assuming I'm going to lose the medium armor in my final clone if I use just one of the samples, perhaps even if I used all 3 in the same clone, although I am not sure of that.

I would like primarily to work with Frenzied Graul and Toxic Merek Battlelord DNA, all very high quality, for the other samples in this clone (although I am open to suggestion). It would be nice for this beast to have the Merek's Strong Poison and the Frenzied's Open wounds, but I am seeing that Open Wounds is not carrying over to clones. (Bug? Design?) Neither is kinetic resists over 60%... so am I wasting the samples on a creature, will the system eat my 45% medium armor and not even give me better than 60% kinetic resists with light armor?

So, my fellow BEs... let's hear your advice, if you have any suggestions. I'm trying (obviously) for a CL 70, massive kimogila, with a focus on PvE and kinetic resists. Special attacks would be very nice, but I'm not sure what I can achieve under the new system.

I welcome responses, mathematics, anything, from everyone in the community. Talthazar, Tal-N, you guys have done some great BE work, I'd really love to hear from you especially. And anyone with some solid facts to back up their own suggestions would be great. I have played with the new system extensively since it went live, and I'm finding that even when I think I have it all figured out, it throws me for a loop. So I'd be really happy for the help.

I will be monitoring this thread, and when I finally do use the samples I will post the results here. I am really trying to limit myself to one kimo sample per clone, in the hopes I can get three very good kimogilas. We shall see... hope to hear from everyone, thank you all in advance!

Won't get medium armor. Won't get Open Wounds from Frenzied. Won't get over 60% kinetic. Might not get over 60% energy. I'd try...four Ancient Graul (or similar)DNA, 1 of the Kimo DNA. Put the Kimo in psychological. I say this because, using 5 frenzied DNA has lead to an exact duplicate of a wild Frenzied, resist/armor wise, but with only one of the specials and bad HAM. When I put 4 frenzied and one ancient (ancient in Psych), I got the frenzied stats but much higher HAM (ancient levle HAM). So, you could pull off a very High HAM, light armor, high kinetic, pretty decent energy with that, I think.

If you want armor, so far I've heard that in order to get it you need to experiment on Physical and then the armor will take. Probably not medium, but light armor at least. I've also heard experimenting on both Prowess and Physical, but the latest post I read just mentioned Physical.

Be sure to do that, or you won't get armor from all accounts I've seen so far.
