Thread: So I am almost done BE! (Question for the true BE's)
If you still want to fight, then pick a wepon you like and just go up the one tree so you can master it.
As far as me I did master BE,master DOC so I could buff out the stims, and Scout so I can mask scent and harvest.
(pick up a harvest bot ever little bit helps).
I started out going for Master BE / Master CH / and taking the Meditate branch of TKA. When I was 4/4/3/4 CH, I realized that my pets werebarely anybetter at CL 40-ish than they were in the early to mid 20's. Heck, I have a couple of CL 11 razor cats that I made for my own use with 60% special kinetic, 11k HAM, intimidation, crippling strike, and ranged attack... and a level 24 with the same stats + light armor. The damage from pets is laughable, even at CL60-ish with maxed Aggression, as compared to any combat profession. That's for PvE... I won't even mention how sad PvP is.
So... I dropped all but Creature Management in CH (can have 2 pets out at once, plus train mounts for customers), and mastered TKA. Geez, what a difference. To be honest, I'm sorry that I wasted all of that time and effort gaining so much CH skill boxes. For the rest of my skill points, I grabbed Scout Exploration 4 (mask scent + terrain negotiation) and Survival 1 (so that I could forage for pet food).

If I had it to do all over again, I would have gone with either MBE and:
Master Doctor to make really amazing PetStims
Master Chef to make really amazing food
Master Tailor to make really amazing clothing
