Merek harvesters are the best (i think)

Riverside Sulfer Mynocks are the lowest level of armor you can get on dna, i think they nerf'd light armor off them though.

You might want to try the Voritors though, the level 45ish version(non dasher) has 60% sp to kinetic, the species above that has 40% and 45% kinetic, with some inbreeding you can get that to 50% and ar1 and lower the levels to probally around 30 or so.

MH/MH/MA/MA/MA is a good combination, AR1 with 55-ish kinetic, but the armor doesn't always stick, it may take a few attempts. I make these regularly, and they end up CL 25-26 with max. experimentation... don't throw as much experimentation into Aggression (or try adding none at all there), and you should hit 23.

If you want more damage output, try: DMA/DMA/DMA/DMA/DMA. Lower kinetic (45), but you can hit CL 23-24 almost every time if you stop experimenting Physique when you hit 500 Fort., then throw the rest of your experimentation elsewhere.

Both formulas should give you strong poison, the DMA will get you stunning strike, the Assassin will get you Dizzy. The Avenger also may get you a ranged attack as well, if I remember correctly.

Even if you miss the CL23 mark on a few trials, these pets will still sell like crazy, at least they do for me.

[Edit: Forgot to put these... MH = Merek Harvester, MA = Merek Assassin, DMA = Delerious Merek Avenger]

If you do not mind the trouble of making 2nd generation pets, here's the recipe I usually used when I was a BE:

Use the following DNAs to make your first generation pet:

merek harvester, merek harvester,

merek assassin, merek assasin,

arachne warrior (VHQ)

Sample

Quality of the merek harvester and merek assasin does not really matter. I usually won't use AA samples though.

Experiment 1 or 2 points on physique, so that fortitude goes above 500 (for light armor).

Make the pet in a gnort skin, because it takes the least creature food and flora food to make. Sample the gnort pet deed for DNA to make your 2nd generation CL23 pets. You can typically get around 3 samples from the pet deed before killing it.

Then use 5 DNAs from the CL30 pets you just made. Experiment ONLY on physique to get fortitude over 500 to get light armor.

Sample

Some people might use some wild DNA in this stage to save 1st generation DNA. Just beware if you want to keep light armor and 60% kinetic resistance.
