Did anyone else experiance an unsually increase in the number of critcal fails while making creatures last night?I have some of the best equipment out there and had 5 last night with Bull Rancor DNA, I havn't had more then 10 in the last 2 months, and then five in 30 Min.? Was it just me? I hope so.

Maybe its just coincidence or paranoia but I find the crit fail rate seems to soar just after a patch

Crit fails make me cry because they always seem to happen on my best DNA.
I haven't gotten a critical fail for a clone since they made the changes to critical failures, it always seems to happen on DNA. Also I have noticed when I am using the Assembly food (I forget its name) that I don't use it on DNA assemblies, only on Clone assemblies. My theory is that there is something wonky with DNA combines.

I get 2-3 crits a night if I'm doing alot of cloning. The other night, I did 2 in a row on my first ones. I almost threw my computer out the window.

OMG, 2 of them were my best tmplates ever, I was so excited to see what they would do, but didI get to find out, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!I just stared at the screen for like 3 minutes on the first one. The Second one, I almost did through my monitor out the window, lucky for it that it's so Friggin heavy. Merek Harvestor, BULL Rancor, Merek Death's Head, and Mandrelalakala Screecher DNA down the STINKIN TOILET! AHHHHH!

Criticals often come in bunches. Lag seems to be a factor, and simply the random number generator itself seems to favor the odds of getting additional critical fails once you've had one. Best advice is to stop crafting when you get a crit fail or two, and do something else for a while where it isn't so devestating to fail (e.g. dna sampling) and then come back to it later.
edit: argh! sorry about the line wrap.

BF might also have something to do with it. I usually see an entertainer before crafting if I have any significant BF. Not sure if it helps, but it can't hurt

Not a bad plan, I just thought it was weird, I in the past week, i have traded going to Endor and Dothmir (1 day each) collecting Samples, then going home and make it stuff, and had maybe 1 CF all weak, and then 5 in one night, I really wish I would have got to see what that Nargalatch would have turned out like, I had him at aprox. 700 Power with KD CS and should have easily had an 11-12k HAM with light armor, ohhh he would have been sweet!

The distribution of critical fails isn't as random as it should be. They often come in streaks and then go a long time without a crit. Once you start hitting that fail streak, it is time to stop crafting.
