Thread: Double checking REAL low level mounts

I think I know the answer, but I'm looking for confirmation.

I've been making junk Dewbacks and Cu-Pa's...coming out as CL 5 and the like. I've been advertising them as mount only and labelling the deeds as such.

My question is - can you mount train a critter that low? I realize that it must grow up first.

I'm 99.9% sure that the answer is yes, but I want to erase that final doubt.

I just have no experience here I'm afraid. I did get a request from a friend recently who wanted a CL 2 mount, lol. I guess his "main" critter is 2 CL below what he can call, so he figured being able to have an extremely wimpy "mount only" pet out would be a convenience that he could just leave out, but after checking and realizing that the minimum CL for all mountable skins is CL 5 and above, I had to tell him "no can do".

Before I figured out the nice lvl10 formula, I sampled worrts all the time and made lvl5-9 mounts and sold them on the bazaar for newbs. If anyone has ever visited mos eisley lately, it's FILLED with new players. So there is a nice market for them. And yes, they are tamable and trainable. I used to have one myself until I replaced it with a much stronger tankable mount.

...yes, anything in those specified skins from level 1-70 is tamable.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

Wonderful!

They fly off the shelf in Coronet and Theed....I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't ripping people off.

Made lots of money working my way up BE doing this. All that DNA I collected (and meat from agros) would be used to make mounts. Droped them on the Bazar in coronet for 2-6k depending on how good they came out. Then would go to starport and shout 2-3 times that they were there. Sometimes they would sell before I left the bazar. Now I live on Dath, so I step out my front door and put together a decent lvl10 and sell for a bit more. Mostly for guildies and by referal.
