well i made master tonight finally after a month : )

I took my dna i had been collecting and decided to make some pets and see what happens. i made a whole bunch and then trashed um and sampled um and made new mutants,, was having lots of fun and then i seamed to hit on somthing that was working pretty consistant to make some really nice lvl 15 pets, or atleast what i think is nice. Ive acually decided to skip the CH route i was going and grab the next box to have 2 of these pets out.

lvl 10 4411 2165 1109 14 kin .2 70-75 intimidation, blind from what ive seen this is pretty average lvl 10 i think, specials might be decent i think a R3 would be better.

lvl 208935 7265 7158 26 kin, .29 360-370 dizzy, blind Nice ham, good speicals, high damage.. better than any of the lvl 19-20's ive been using by far.. what do you all think?

my lvl 15's in order i think best to worst

lvl 15 7732 5435 2419 30 kin 2.4 .2 140-150 intimdation, mild poison nice ham, nice def speicals may be good? good hunting pet?

lvl 15 6546 4160 2814 13 kin 18 energy 2.38 .21 140-150 blind, stun a little weaker, but energy, maybe good for faction missions?

lvl 15 8163 5901 2580 30 kin 2.45 .2 150-160 intimidation, mild poison an other nice hunting pet, i think it would pair well with the first out hunting, if hunting things that like to group like gurks for example.. maybe klikniks, mamalians?

lvl 15 6035 4537 1773 kin 15 energy 26 2.4 .2 120-130 intimidation, mild poision slightly weaker than the others but better energy def possibly good vs maulers?

what do you all think,.. these are multi generation pets.. not even sure i just took about 100 samples and messed around trying different combo's trying to get the speicals i wanted to stick,.,. then mixed and matched samples of bio pets... honestly probly could not dupe at this point but i have a good idea what i did soo maybe dupin would be possible.

Few Q's

1, getting the speical you want to stick i tired differnt boxes and sometiems it seamed to work and others nothing would stick. sorta baffling any idea?

2, getting armor, i heard that you need to get 500 fortitude to get armor.. deos this combine average out all your smaples to come up with the number, and then see if its got armor,, for some reason the final seamed lower than the average of the 5 but i could be wrong,, i am pretty beat.

4, Im trying to raise the kin higher on my hunting pets.. any idea what max kin would be on a lvl 15 or lvl 20 and can i get um with armor?

5, anyone ever get a 50 kin 50 acid light armor on a lvl 20 pet, with knock down and med disease? do you think this is possible or would that be more of a lvl 35 pet

6 i got lots more samples to play with soo ill be trying tons of combos,, I was having a hard time noticing if dna box placement was effecting the builds but then again i was trying soo many different things.. I think im gonna take about 20 or sooof 5 different types and really play with the box order But a hint in the right direction would be great : )

7, im pretty happy with my first few pets what do you all think...

1. the best way to get the specials to stick is to find a creature who has both specials you want, and get a VHQ sample then put it in agression

2. the final after combine seems lower to me to, to get armor you need to have several of your samples have it, i have never gotten armor on a pet where none of the DNA donors didnt have it

3. You need to find DNA with high kin resist and armor, (i used merek harvester DNA) then max it out in experimentation then just keep gen'ing it untill you hit the right CL

4. Thats a level 35 more than a 20, but its possible, just do enough generations and it should be doable, you will have to sacrifice either damage or ham though

Agressions provides special 1, psychology provies special 2 (typically). These 2 DNA samples usually need to be of higher quality (at least HQ)than the rest to get these to stick.

Its a weighted average of all 5 DNA samples (40% physique, 25% Prowess, 5% Mental, 5% Psychology, 25% Agression)

4. You can get armor sub-30 but it will take generational sampling and reintroduction of fresh dna. Frequently, you see in posted recipes the FG, FG, S1, S1, S1 - that's generational reintroduction. The S1's representing the samples gotten from the first creature made in the recipe.

ahh oky,

All the multi gens i was making where completely next gen stuff. I would take pets that i like what there atruibutes where than i made and combine them to see what happened though i never put in fresh DNA to a secdon 3rd gen,, they where all 2nd, 3rd, 4th,, from 2nds, 3rds, 4ths, from 2nds, 3rds, forths,, I was just playing around mixing and matching was pretty interesting. A hella lot more fun than making armor,, find resorce, click click.... make a schem..pretty borring after a year

BTw what do you all think of those pets? Im gonna grow um today and see how they work

I've gotten armor to stick on a level 21 but the rest of the stats were pretty lame. The HAM is very skewed as well. Lots of health but low action and mind.

Specials have been outlined a number of times. S1 is controlled mainly by aggression. S2 by psychology. You can run into situations where higher quality samples in other slots cancel out the specials altogether. Ranged is controlled by mind, psychology and physic. You can get ranged by placing VHQ samples in psych or two HQ in mind and physic.

When the "new" clone system hit last December it was a lot of fun (and frustrating)trying to figure out how it worked.

At DNA 2, I have yet to get anything above above average quality. However, burning up alot of average, and below average dna ( for crafting xp), I was getting nearly all specials to stick ( no experimenting at all). I made a couple with strong poison and were lvl 12 and 15. They also had intimidate or blind. I didn't keep them, because the hams were under 1k. ( PS nearly all these samples were from Endor, of course).
