Hi guys,
Coming from an Ex BE and a current AS i think this is a spiffy idea,
Let BE's MAKE the organic rare components for RIS. Obviously do it in the form of a quest of some sort and have rare resources but still Bio engineeers are advanced genetic scientists. If they can create entire animals they should be allowed to makesmaller bits too. I think it would add some cool new content if done in the form of a difficult quest, and marginally lower the price & rarity of RIS.
Wot u think?

Organic creature bits added to armor, yesssss..... LAMB LEGS GROWING FROM CHESTPLATES AND KREETLE HATS! Mwaaahahahahahahah!
Heh, in all seriousness BE has huge potential in expandability. I'd love to see us making things for AS, WS, and DE classes. Crafting components IS boring though, imagine if all ya did was make armor layers to sell to other Armorsmiths... if we potentially get new crafter components in the future, I wish to see more end-user products we can make as well.

I think at the very least RIS should take the BE skill tissues as an optional component. This armor is too hard to come by, so it might as well be super powerful.

I agree with all of these, but it seems a little unrealistic to clone things like kimogila scales.

no more unrealistic than cloning a Kimogila, I feel.

I think there should at least be some sort of loot component or quest involving BEing. I know we have 'secret research data' but thats not even in testing atm, in fact i think the devs just put there in case they ever get around to putting it in. I think it would be interesting if we played a bigger role the GCW other than standing there at a terminal playing a quick game of matching pairs.
