Thread: Creatures not dieing after Dna Sampling

Not sure if this is a bug or not. But I'd say about 1/3 or the time, I can sample mulitple times from 1 creature. It doesnt die. I only have DNA 3, working on 4,But i sampled 6 times from a Piket longhorn female last night. I've even gotten dna and then been attacked by the creature.
Anyoneelse having this happen?

The higher your sampling level is and the lower the CL of the animal is, the more likely it is to live for a resample. Its not uncommon to sometimes get 6 or even 7 samples from a low level animal. However,you will be lucky to get more than 2 samples from a mutant rancor.

That is normal. You often get multiple samples as you get better, and you often get attacked on multiple samples. Eventually, if you keep retreating, you will end up killing whatever you are sampling though.
