i was just curious if anyone knows what is going on with this. i have a dark sash that gives me a bonus to surveying and combat medicine. is this a tissue enhancement, because it isn't listed on the BE skill tree. or is it the sash itself, in which case i'm poting on the wrong board. i also was curious if there are any BE's on tatooine on the bloodfin server, paying the npc trainer's is slaughtering my meager savings.

PS-sampling DNA on lok is the best idea i ever had. 300+xp every time and awesome dna samples to boot

Looted item. Bonuses to Surveying are worthless. If the CM bonus is higher than the Surveying bonus, the sash you have may be worth a decent amount.

all skill mods on looted clothing works, its only armour and clothing attachments that the higher skill takes precendant and negates the other mods.

Negatory on that. Chandad gives me a 192 range, when I would otherwise have 128. I assume a tape would be no different.

+25 surveying in tapes, means getting back 5 points spent on surveying 4..... and still getting the 320m survey! Very worthwhile, which is why I'm trying to buy some

Just to answer your final question:

Im a Bio Eng. on tatooine/Bloodfin server. Look me up in Mos VEA when you need training. im currently 4-2-4-2
