What's the difference in effect between making your own advanced pet stim components vs. having a doc do it? I know that docs get more experimentation points and thus with decent materials are able to push the effect a lot higher but what kind of effect does this have on the stim? Can it be an extra 25% healing power to the stim? 30%?

Not sure the exact percent but when docs make your components you will have more charges and more power. I would say quite a bit more on each. I get 37 charges ( no experimentation in final product ) with the components I have made from a guildie doc. I have never tried to make my own but think it would be alot lower then this.

I think it would be roughly 100 power and 10 charges difference with really good subcomponents.

Thanks for the pointer but it doesn't.
I read it before I started making pet stims and again just now just in case I had missed something the first time. It compares advanced components vs. basic ones but in the Doc vs. not-a-doc comparision it just says "Have a doc make the components".

Well, I make med components with by pharm 4 medic ability and mine turn out roughly like:
ALS 120
ABEC 7/13
ACRDM 40
something in that ballpark. The master doc (I think he's "11 point") who makes meds for me has his turn out approx:
ALS 170
ABEC 17/21
ACRDM 60
So the difference is roughly around 80 points of power and 8 charges or so of difference. In terms of percentage, it depends on what level of pet stim you are making.

Welp, I don't have actual %'s for this. I do know that the doc made components have much higher values than the one's I tried to make using the same resources. In most cases the numbers were a little less than double for the doc components. The end effect on the stims... I would say 20-25% is about right. It's been a long long time since I made stims with my own components, but that's what I remember. 1200 for pet c's using doc stuff 900+ for my stuff. Something like that.

Well, isn't this the greatest thing to happen to the game.
we make pet stims,
we make the components for pet stims
our pets stims turn out like sh**
IF
we make pet stims
Master Doctors make the components for us
our pet stims are great.
What is wrong with that? Should we or should we not, be able to make the high end components for our own stuff?

Hmmm, you can use the advanced components? Wish I read this before last night, hehe. Guess I should stop my factories, hehe.
Found the entry in the FAQ regarding this. Very informative. Thanks alot!

The non-advanced components are still real useful for pet vitality packs
